I never knew about it either until we had Tommy's going away get together & he mentioned it. Seems pretty neat because it's an enclosed trailer & has a left so it should work for lowered cars.

Of course, it may be a pretty penny for all of those extras.

 

Well, kids... it looks like Maryland won out. I'll be working in Odenton, which is halfway between D.C. and Baltimore (about 15-20 minutes from each). Not excited about the snow, but the job looks interesting... I'll be working on the camera systems they use in NASCAR for in-car shots, etc., upgrading the system to high-def.

FedEx came back with a quote of a little over $1k... not bad, considering it's an enclosed trailer. I'll probably just drive up, though. A quick sidetrip to see the parents, maybe stop halfway for the night so I can arrive middle of the day to sign a lease.

Talked with some of the guys in the MID A forum. Really nice, and funny. They will make you feel at home.

Now I know zdave is jealous since sweetj lives up there, and you will be soon.

 

<chuckle> Yeah, I think sweetj is about the only person I know in the area... met her when I was down south, she came down for a visit.

Sorry to see ya go! But Maryland is not so bad... I have spent some time up there, (fort meade, columbia,ellicott) nice people and nice roads!!
