Default engine seized? PLEASE HELP

well i was driving home from work and it was a crazy storm here in tampa,Fl...long story short i was going insanely slow through a puddle when suddenly my car just shut off and wouldnt turn back on...im thinking that my aem intake sucked up water and the engine is seized. Im just looking for any other advice that would be helpful. has this happened to anyone else? does insurance cover it if it still has full coverage on it? please help...thanks in advance..

mine swallowed some water once and stalled out i let it sit for a few mins then tried starting it i had to crank it 3-4 times but it finally shot a bunch of white smoke out and has been ok since i think i may have just been extremely lucky

on a side note i think rebuilt engines run about $3,000 - $4,000 for a new engine but you might be able to find someone who can rebuild yours for $500-$1000

^ That's easy! Get with Metcalfe in your Tampa post. Question, does the S crank over?

OYE!

Rust lock or bent rod...

Can you pull plugs? There is a way to save the engine but time is of the essence...

pull the plugs and crank the motor it will expell any water and should free up the motor.. water in the cylinders creates too much pressure for engine to crank.. hopefully this works for you..
