This is a video of a roll on street race of a SLK with an Mclaren/SLR engine swap versus an Enzo. You know you're fast if you can hand an Enzo his a$$

Didn't sound like a race at all. The Enzo has to rev higher than that. Everything seemed slow. The tach looked like the sift was about 4k and the shifts were slow for paddles.

Sure didn't seem right.

 

Isn't that Benzo the Sultans son's car or something like that over in the UAE. I remeber seeing a car just like that in the gallery section a month or two back.

I agree with Jeff, although speed does not translate well inside the car with a camcorder, something just does not sound or look right.

yeah, but... The naysayers are right.

I can believe that this car might be able to pull on a Enzo. But this video showed a slaughter. Not gonna happen. I now rebuke my "wow."

 

OMG that was cool

 

Let's assume both cars have about equal horsepower and the SLK weighs about 500-700 lbs less and has a better driver behind the wheel. The outcome looked very reasonable to me.

 

Use the rev limiter. That is what is is there for!
