What is the difference between the AP1 and AP2 exhaust? Couldn't you just have swapped the tips?

 

It's definately louder. It sounds more agressive to me. Like a rottweiler growl compared to a blue heeler growl.

Yes, you can just swap tips. The difference between this particular exhaust and a stock exhaust is that the resonator was removed.

 

if matt bought the ap1 exhaust for his car (which you had) couldnt the two of you have switched?

 

I guess we could have. I would have suggested had I known that he was definately going to make the switch.

I wasnt sure I was going to get rid of my original exhaust until I was sure I liked the AP1. Then, I wasnt sure it was going to go to someone with an AP1. James just happened to be the first person to chime in that he wanted it.
