Hey guys!! Not sure if this thread is up all ready, if it is; just let me know ill close this one...

I have always been really interested in Auto Crossing, but after watching "BLACKNOT" winning the Auto X event a couple of weeks back, it got me even more pumped! (CONGRATS BY THE WAY)

I'm not sure if there is a Florida team, or a gathering of people that go all the time... but i would really like to go!!

Especially with our new product with the Beatrush Under Panel...It would be a great opportunity to test this bad boy out!

So with this topic, I would really like to talk to all the S2 Auto X crew... especially those that run the FAST events.....

Ideas, thoughts, things to watch out when you Auto X.. Advice!! Anything that would help me be a better Auto Cross competitor... Thanks for all you help in advance... Hope this Post goes well!!

Next event: September 6th 2008 Auto X at lakeland 7am located at Joker Marchant Stadium....... WHOS GOING??

 

I'm definitely going to the September event. It will officially be my 3rd autocross!

The only thing I can think of right now is to check the FAST website often to see if registration is open for the next event, because once it's open, it fills up very quickly. If you find it, start a thread about it here so that we can get as many s2k's in as possible, I know I will if I happen to find it open first.

Also, what is this under panel you speak of?

 

Dude you should come out and run an SCCA event with us.

Next event is on the 16-17th at BCC in Palm Bay.

16th is practice, where you can get like 10 runs and really feel the car our, 17th is the race.

 

Ya, be looking beyond FAST... they have a few good events, but if you really want to have fun, you also have the SCCA like Speedy mentioned, and then you have the Martin Sports Car Club (www.martinsportscarclub.net), who's next event is on the 10th of August in Tavares (about 35 minutes north of you), and then there are other events you can tag along with, like the Corvette Club (www.ncccsouth.com)

The big thing, is that with the SCCA events, there is a large group of us that generally always make each event...

It'll be great to see you out there... be sure to bring your dancin' shoes

I do the fast events because they are close. I'm going to start doing some SCCA events. I would love to see more S2k's out. It's really fun when you run against other S2k's. We should all start posting events so everyone can come out and play.

 

Yeah!! This is kinda the Idea behind this post!! I really want to get more involved, and those that are noobs like i am.. it might help them with the step by step to getting them where i will be in the future..
