Yeah!! This is kinda the Idea behind this post!! I really want to get more involved, and those that are noobs like i am.. it might help them with the step by step to getting them where i will be in the future..
Like i said the biggest thing is learning the cones. I attended 2 autocross schools before i came back to do an event. I didnt like it at first because you are overwhelmed by a "sea of cones". After a few events it's great. My first couple of events i didnt even try to win. I just wanted to learn the limits of the car. This has really helped me out on the roads and up at the Dragon. The guys like Willie G and speedy are great drivers because of events like this. Just so you know i drove with them at the dragon and they are so fast i wouldnt even try to keep up. My wife even wants a ride with Willie G

I do the fast events because they are close. I'm going to start doing some SCCA events. I would love to see more S2k's out. It's really fun when you run against other S2k's. We should all start posting events so everyone can come out and play.
At the SCCA events, we (the S2000's) pretty much take up an entire class (not including novices & lades-which BTW, I think it's about time that Jillian (aka CabinGirl) run with everyone else in BSP (and MaggieMae--you'll be running with us soon--you are F A S T!)

If you are going to Martin, I'll be there. Look for the red S with the cone magnet attached.
