the red version i am selling is the regular 8500.

i have a blue X50 and i have noticed ZERO differences between the standard 8500 and the 8500 X50. POP sucks, so i keep it turned off on my X50. it's funny that the X50 comes from the factory with POP in the Off postion, so even they know it sucks.

How long have you had it???

 

i bought it New. it's probably 4 yrs old, i bought it within a year of the X50's coming out. I bought a Blue X50 summer of 2006. Honestly i see no difference in range for the 8500 vs. 8500 X50. the POP was the upgrade for the X50 and it's annoying as hell. i keep the POP turned off on the X50.

8500 are superior to the 7500's. better guts.

no, no and no. i ran it (hard wired) in my S2K for approx 4 months prior to buying the X50 (summer 2006).
