Is the cord long enough to the outlet? Do you have a picture of it plugged and mounted so I can get an idea of what it looks like ?

i highly recommend upgrading to the hard wire kit, escort offers 2 version. 1 is $10 the other is a smart cord with built in muting and allows the unit to run in dark mode $30.

yes the standard cigarette plug in cord works, but i don't have pics. i can take some if necessary.
