Funny... just wish it wasn't a defenseless animal forced to go through that. Not much of a tree hugger myself, but I do dislike seeing animals put into uncomfortable positions.

Still funy, though... would have been better if the dog puked on them both

I would not go as far as calling that cruelty. Like most forms of travel, I bet the dog loves to go with his owner on the plane. The chain of events presented a funny effect but I am sure the dog was fine.

He did not look freaked out (if it was something he was freaked out about his legs would be flialing about and he would be twisting around to right himself - he knew what was going on) and I am sure it was not the first time.

This is cruel IMHO

Still not overly devastating but a clear case of kitty not digging the situation.
