Geez, I believe UF was selling that shirt in Gainesville 10 years ago, when we beat LSU in the '90's. "We put the "L" in LSU!" Maybe next time we beat LSU at something, I will pull out my 1980's t-shirt with "LSwho?" on it.

Just being comical here, not derogatory.

LSU did what they needed to do to win a very competitive game. LSU has a strong team.

LSU is better than UF this year, as I think they would win 6 out of 10 against UF, and maybe 7 if they have Doucet.

Facts? LOL I actually like Florida, but when I read about each institutions athletic achievements, count them up however you wanna do it. Florida isn't in the same league. I guess that's why Sports Illustrated dub'd OSU "the Program" when it came to collegiate level sports at a whole. try again.....

The reason this thread is still alive is because we're arguing in a circle.

Caputo - arguing that UF is athletically superior to tOSU when all sports are taken into consideration, not just football and basketball.

Myself - arguing that any real fan of tOSU would never (a) own Gator gear, or (b) claim to like the gators for any reason, or

Dang, you are 95 percent correct. It is also alive because Florida continues to lose.
Now, the real fan comment? that's just a low blow, I buy shirts from whatever college the Navy transfers me near, it's just a thing I do..... But being alumni of OSU circa 97, I do consider myself a "real OSU fan"

Take the playful tongue in cheek jabbing for what it is.
I apologize if this is taken too seriously, I'll allow you to post a reply and then I will lock this thread before someone's feelings get hurt ......

No lock needed. Nothing taken seriously either. I was just jabbing back at some of the jabs you've passed out. This is just some good old college sports message board fun for me.

Being in Tallahassee, I'm bombarded with FSU, FSU, FSU all friggin day. So the chance to spar with Ohio State fans is something of a rarity.
