Well, I must say that it's awesome to see my Eagles are still undefeated. I would be amazed to see it last, what with Virgina Tech, FSU, and Maryland coming up. I'll just say I'm happy while it's lasting.

As for the Gators, it obviously goes without saying that they are an immensely talented team in the toughest conference in Div I college football. But this season just needs to be chalked up to they went up against some tough teams who played just a little bit better on those given days.

Without going into a huge debate over the BCS, it bears mention that there's really no fair way to determine who is truly best when there are so many teams competing to be on top, short of having every team play against each other, which is logistically impossible. This is why I can't take college football as serious as the pros. There are too many determining factors in deciding who is best to truly reach a clearcut answer.

BC looks tough, and in as good a position as any to play for the title. Heck, they may even bring in a Heisman in the process...

I agree that they've looked great so far. My concern is that with how tight everything looks this season, if they drop the games to VT and Maryland, they are going to be overlooked come Bowl time. And again, it's an ACC team. A decade ago, it would have been huge that they made it 7-0. But Clemson, Miami, FSU, and NC State are simply not the caliber of team that they once were.

Matt Ryan is proving phenomenal as a QB. He's fit right into that offense. And maybe we can even see a repeat of Flutie's 'Hail Mary' at the end of the year.

Each week gets more and more interesting doesn't it!

1. tOhio State University
2. Boston College
3. LSU
4. Oregon
5. Oklahoma
.
.
10. Georgia
.
.
13. Southern Cal
.
.
UR Cal

Now the SEC east co-leader is ranked 24th and behind Georgia and South Carolina teams which they have already beat this season.

That 3rd victory in 18 years must taste awfully sweet.

And I have been there for all 18 games, including all three losses.

Georgia handidly beat UF yesterday, and made UF look average. Injuries, youth, etc, say what you want, but UF was out played, and has some growing and experience to gain.

THANK GOODNESS FOR DEE FINLEY AND WILL HILL! For those unfamiliar, they are the two highest recruited DB's in high school, and are commited to UF for next year!! We need them now! They could start for UF today!!!

I look forward to the remainder of the season.

Off to UF homecoming next weekend...

I had to miss this year, first time in 7 years. We got outplayed badly. Our defense couldn't make any of the key stops and UGA went something like 10-12 on 3rd down. Not going to win many games giving up 42 points either.

UGA fans, enjoy Atlanta in December, it's a hell of a time. And don't worry, you'll have the support of this UF fan, I'll take UGA over anyone in the West for sure.

At this point, I'm worried about Vandy, want to beat the OBC sooo badly, and can't wait to hand B Bowden his ass again. See you next weekend Caputo, I'll be there too. Can't wait for Skynyrd!

Dan,

I will be sitting at the parade on Friday, across from the Gator Book Store. I will also be at the Gator BB game Thursday night, and the Women's Soccer game Friday night.

Have a nice time.
