Have I seen Kansas play? Yes.
Am I excited about watching a team with 1 win (#24 K. State) against a ranked opponent play for a NC? No.

Please don't disrespect my college football knowledge before checking their schedule. Unless of course you're a die hard Jayhawk, caught up in the winning moment much life all the USF fans were a month ago, in which case insult away.

We'll know more once they play Oklahoma, until then, I'm right.
They play a very good Missouri(#6) team in two weeks and then, if they win that, they will more than likely play OU(#3) in the Big XII championship game. That would be a very impressive resume and it would be very difficult to keep them out of the NC game. Of course that is probably wishful thinking anyways. Kansas hasn't really been tested yet but with the numbers they have been putting up they are quite impressive. Hopefully they are peaking as a team for the last leg of their schedule.

I wasn't questioning your "fanhood in front of the ladies".

I am not a Jayhawks fan. I have been a Sooner fan my entire short life.

I don't agree with the "until then, I'm right" statement, but we'll see. It is all still speculation.

I do not agree with Ou jumping Kansas in the standings when they both won!

It's strength of schedule. If Kansas wins out and they are not playing for the NC game, then there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Is there anyone other than Tebow and the Ducks QB worth considering for the Heisman? Matt Ryan's done, D Mac is an awesome player on a terrible team, have I overlooked anyone?
Possibly the UCF running back, Kevin Smith.

It's a long shot, I know.

Kevin Smith is a maniac. He'll be playing on Sundays very soon. I got into an email argument this weekend when he compared K Smith to Emmitt Smith. After telling him he was a moron, I checked the stats, and low and behold, I was the moron. Whoops.

Dude, don't diss my fanhood in front of the ladies! But really, there's so much IF in the Kansas discussion. I mean, IF they beat Oklahoma, and IF they beat Mizzou, then it is a whole new ball game. However, IF both of those things happen, I'll take a double-helping of crow. Until then, IMO, they're on the same level as Hawaii and Boise State schedule-wise.

And as for this weekend, GO BLUE! An unranked Big 10 champion would make my day.

This maybe a football thread, but can someone explain Gardner-Webb and Findley's wins this past week, in college basketball????

Gardner beat KY
Findley beat Ohio State

Are you telling me "THE PROGRAM" lost to Findley???

I thought Michigan's loss to AppSt. was bad.

How embarassing.
