This fell off the front page with what happen last night?

Who is more deserving of a National Title shot?

UGA 10-2
LSU 10-2
VT 10-2
USC 10-2 <----- my pick
Kansas 11-1
Hawaii 12-0

But will be happy if UGA goes as well

UGA does not deserve to go since they didn't win their conference.

LSU has the most impressive losses. Two 3OT losses to Kentucky and Arkansas.

USC lost at home to Stanford.

VT lost big to LSU.

Kansas lost to Missouri, which OU beat twice. They also did not win their conference.

Hawaii definitely deserves something with what they have accomplished this year, but the BCS championship?

OU lost to Colorado and Texas Tech, neither of which were or are ranked.

The BCS is so screwed this year.

I don't know who deserves to go to the Championship game, but I will volunteer the Sooners.

LSU is the most probable contender.

LSU - why not? 3 OT's in both losses
UGA - no conference championship, no NC game
OK - they looked GOOD last night
VT - no way (LSU 48 - VT 7)
USC - beat 2 teams with a winning record ALL YEAR
HI - same as USC, only worse....#119 in SOS, worst in NCAA
KU - same as UGA, only in a weaker conference

It's down to OK and LSU in my book. Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to see UGA play OSU, just don't think it'll happen.

I'd like to see all of these myself...
HI/USC - Rose Bowl
VT/WV - Orange
KU/OK - Fiesta
UGA/Ill(maybe?) - Sugar
LSU/OSU - NC

We'll know tonight I guess.

Are we ready for Heisman talk yet? Or should we finish bowl discussions first?

Chase Daniel is out. That much is certain. He couldn't even beat the lowly Sooners. He even had two tries.

So it's Darren McFadden, Pat White, Colt Brennan, and Tim Tebow.

McFadden - some great games, some not-so-great games, 4 losses
White - same story, 2 losses
Brennan - plays patty cake WAC teams, but has 3 zillion passing yards, 0 losses
Tebow - statistics and TD machine but caught the injury bug, 3 losses

Who's it gonna be?

Personally, I think the best two teams are not going to play: LSU & OU. That would be a true match-up for the NC.

But it's looking like OSU and LSU or OU. Which is just silly since choosing either LSU or OU would be an arbitrary selection. If it is arbitrary, then why not arbitrarily pick the two best teams to play for the NC. And if it shouldn't be arbitrary, then Hawaii should be #1 playing #2 OSU.

Maybe this BCS fiasco can finally get a playoff system for NCAAF. There are 11 conferences...set up a playoff with the winners of the 11 conferences plus 5 other schools who were not conf winners but finished high in the polls. And yes, there are some really really weak conferences, but a playoff system like that might encourage some stronger schools to move to a weak conference, which should improve the conference in the long run.

I'm not even gonna say it. Ah hell yeah I am........... GO BUCKEYES!!!!!

Now, to pull the pin from the grenade...........

Maybe, just maybe, when we become competitive on the level "the gators" are, we can go back to back to the NC game. funny watching all the team talk fighting over the scraps again. Hell, I am even content not winning the game again, what a fantastic season this has been.
