GO GATORS
Another frustration:
While Ohio State does not have to play a good team in a conference championship, and expose themselves to a potential loss...
...Missouri was ranked #1 and had to play in such a game, and lost costing them a national title shot.
My point is, if Missouri was in the Big Ten, they would be playing for a national title. Instead, a team that DID NOT have to play an extra game, benefits from Missouri's extra (and very difficult) game.
Bottom line, the Big Ten is a sissy conference, in that it does not expose it's teams to a championship game.

It means that UF didn't win the NCAA Football Championship.
People think UF had a bad year. I don't see how.
9-3 with a good bowl coming, with a VERY young team.
More than likely - the Heisman Trophy winner!
All, after winning the National Championship!
Great season!
I wonder what the line will be for OSU/LSU?
With Dorsey, Flynn and Doucet healthy, essentially playing a home game in New Orleans, on a lightning-fast turf field, I'd guess around 10 points. Get your excuses ready sweater-vest-fans, the "51 day layoff" bullcrap from last year is played out already.
Time for a new thread, entitled: Excuses OSU will make this year after the NC Game.
I'll take the first one, with Caputo more than likely to follow...
"We ate too much soul food the night before. Hot sauce can really upset midwestern stomachs. Damn cajuns! Who eats crawdads anyway?"
Here's to Glen Dorsey having an Earl Everett moment! Cheers!

How about that. Looks like hate to me. Keep it coming. We are there, your team isn't....again.....
No one is making any of those schools play an extra game, their schools agreed to it for the money, if you need the link to educate yourself on this matter, I'll provide it.
Lost respect? Didn't recall asking for it. Don't get butt hurt on a forum, it's not worth it. After all, this was in good fun right? I have made all of my comments about the game and the teams, nothing in the form of a personal comment about anyone in particular has ever come from me. Respect...eh... Be respectable.
My 2 cents. Go ahead and tell me how my opinion is wrong too

As for hating - yes, a little. Because the only excuse I heard, after all the trash talk before the game, was the reason OSU lost to UF, was because of the 51 days off. Now, suddenly, that excuse has been forgotten...
Again, a double edged sword!
OSU deserves to be there, (but maybe against Georgia). They only have one loss, but had they played Illinios for the Big Ten coference title, things might have been like Missouri's situation.
OSU has the benefit of one less game, and then uses the excuse of not playing for 51 days as the reason for losing.
