USF goes down

 

2 years in a row the refs have thrown the rutgers game for us. Even the sports center guys are saying that blocked FG for a TD was real but the refs called it back on some BS call. Both fumbles on that you can see the guys reaching for the ball. When you pass a ball you don't reach for it after you pass it. AND that pass interference call was BS. From 3 angles you can see it wasnt a push off. But I'm not whining. F%$k the refs. No one wants to USF play in big leages. It's BS. I'm done.

 

wow that was the first usf game ive watched all year... and that qb sucks

i almost think the qb had money on the game cuz i dont know how else the team that suposed to be #2 has a qb like that. he looked like he would try to get himself saked, never threw the ball away when he had to, and generally looking like the only plays he could make were timed plays where the receiver wasnt hardly off the line before he launched it down feild.

AND WHO THE HELL SPIKES THE BALL TO PUT URSELF BACK IN 3RD AND 22 WHEN ALL U NEED IS A FEILD GOAL! i agree i dont think was pass interferance but regardless of that u cant say usf deserved to win, that looked like it was the team from the lakland usf/pcc campus lol

 

Well to quote the subtitle in this thread: USF is done!

Matt Grothe is a very good QB. Rutgers made him look ordinary.

 

Matt Grothe does not suck. He is quite good. And for USF, he is very good. And only a sophmore...

Rutgers is why he struggled, and did not impress you, not because he sucks.

 

Grothe kicks ass, and like caputo said he is only a sophmore, rutgers is a strong team, and usf made some mistakes. BUT I have to say it was a very good game.

 

all im saying is that was some of the worst quarter backing ive ever seen... i havnt seen him play before, but that was pretty rancid.

 

The whole game was bad. The whole team played bad. But Rutgers had to pull crazy plays and have teh refs on their side to win. Grothe is a great QB tho. He looked bad last night.I dont know why he took some sacks when he was clear to run up the middle. That's what he does and it works. I'm at a loss on this one.

Watch another USF game. They are a much better team than they showed last night.

 

Remember guys, Rutgers' goal IS to make USF and Grothe look bad. That is the intensions of every team - make the opponent play badly. Rutgers was successful.

Either way - Respect to both programs, of which both have improved greatly over the last 3 years.
