the training we went through is (NBC) Nuclear, biological, chemical.
and it smelled like burning pine needles. I have more good news though, 3 days ago we did a 5 mile run along with a pt test and i did very well in it so my 1SGT offered me a RIP contract. He is giving me a week to think it over to see if its what i want and he also wants to see how i do on the next APFT.

[QUOTE=ArchAngel2K,Jun 21 2009, 11:47 AM] Hell ya I was sick as hell from the pinicilin shot then the flu shot after the gas chamber I was all cleared up they made us try and recite the infantrymans creed while in there sucking in the cs. I hope I never have to do that ever again.

i am only 5'7 i think old guard you have to be like 6ft. that would be pretty cool though to be a part of something like that. but im getting stationed with 101st. 3rd ID is stationed here in ft benning. we run past their area all the time.

The navy wouldnt take me because of my driving record. So i had to go army for a few years. But i figured i can serve my 3years 19 weeks in the army then transfer over into the coast guard. I mean i love being on boats and water plus i talked to someone that was in the coast guard and they said you had to be 3 years clean of traffic violations, and you can get stationed where you want as long as its in your state. something like that. so if thats the case im going to try and live in downtown st. pete. we will see though

I'm pretty sure you have to be 6 ft. tall to be in the Coast Guard.

So you can wade to shore in case your ship sinks.......

You will find that the probably be with the TN group. If you are going to Ft Campbell, it sits right on the TN/KY line and most everyone head to Nashville on weekends.
