I hope you can make it. I've been looking foward to meeting you and Martha. I was wondering where FLTS might have run off to, I haven't seen him post up in a while... maybe the pompano are running or something...
The feeling is mutual. We'll definitely make the lunch at The Pub, but the drive itself is looking very doubtful at this point. This is the end of the semester for me and I'm busier than a one-legged man at an ass kicking contest.

I haven't spoken to flts in a while either. He's probably very busy with his business this time of the year, I would imagine. Either that or he's busy with fishing and racing.

It's looking as if I may have to back out of the drive, but I think I can still make it to lunch at The Pub. What time will you all be meeting there?
Probably 12:15 would be the soonest and 12:30 the latest for the ETA at the PUB.

The drive is a total of 122.4 miles according to my last odometer reading.

If we leave as scheduled by 9:00 AM, the first leg is about 1 hour 10 minutes.

10:15-10:30ish: 1st Stop is at the Citgo Station located on the SE corner of Hwy 50 and 471. 20 minutes here for the coffee refills, gas & restroom breaks.

11:15 - 11:30: Next stop is at this small Country Bumpkin called the Green Swamp Store on Hwy 33 about 10 miles south of Hwy 50 and 9 miles north of Dean Still Road (Polk County). ETA to here is about 45 minutes of drive time.

Last leg is right at 30 miles which will put us at the PUB at the expected 12:15 arrival time.

Scott

Scott,

I know of a couple of people that may be able to meet up with us at various times and locations. Can you please post the stopping spots along the way and a rough schedule of when we may be arriving at each?

Both the gas station and the swamp store locations are long forgotten by me.
See post just above this one.....

If you can't recognize me, you obviously haven't been paying attention. I'm very easy to spot.

I don't think that I've ever heard it put quite that politely before.

Jim,

You need to meet me on Hwy 39 at the Circle K this Sat morning about 8:00 AM. It's about 1/2 mile just north of the Pasco-Hillsborough county line.
Is this on the west side of 39 just before Central Ave? This is south of Zhills? If so, not too far from me.

Exactly, corner of Central Avenue and Hwy 39. I live on Central.
