they still wont cancel for a while... their still in debt over the R&D so until they make a profit theyll keep it going.. doesnt cost them much to change a few little things.
This is called milking it for what is worth!! Honda is not showing any signs that they want to improve the car for the future
I drove the 350Z quite a bit to make my decision. It took me 15 seconds in the S to determine that the 350Z wasn't for me.
Old design or not, it's still the best honda product sold if you want a sports car and it's better (imo) than it's newer competition.
Honda didn't redesign the G3 Integra for a long time and they have valid reasons not to, and when they did, they made some HUGE mistakes. If they do the same with the S2000, then we will see the end of the series.
Even if the next gen is better, who cares. I'll still enjoy the one I have.
As for the sales numbers, that's absolutely common, especially with niche cars like the S2000. Look at RX7 sales, 300Z, MR2, etc. All will show the same trend.

But for the sake of argument all these cars have been discontinued. I think the S is on life support (brain dead) right now but the parents in this case Honda won
I was personally very upset when I heard the S2k was discontinued after MY03.
I look at it this way...the NSX has been around for 15 years with only minor changes along the way (and look how few were sold over the last couple years). No doubt the S2000 will end someday, but based on the NSX...I think it is hard to predict when that will be.
I will go out on the limb of public notice right now and confess......If that car was available, I'd sleep with anybody to own it.
Jeremy, that is by far the best S2K picture that I have ever seen. When I saw the Caymen and the Z4Coupe in person, I will admit that I was drooling over these new 2 seaters with sloped hardtop designs, not just the removeable OEM things. That car would absolutete kill if it ever came out. Thanx for making my day!!!
