headlight issue
Ok , i've had zero success trying to align my headlights after the bodyshop had fun with my car. I refuse to bring it back to them, and I'm scared of Honda =O
Anyone have any experience with this? I have proper instructions but they are pretty our of wack. I' can't seem to get the right headlight anywhere close to where the left one is pointing. I think i can't get the left and right adjustments down.

There is no left to right adjustment other than slighly messing with how it's bolted in place. There is a vertical adjustment that can be done with a very long phillips head screwdriver. The driver side beam cutoff should be an inch lower than the passenger side. I say take it back to the repair center and make them fix it or replace any bad parts.

There is a write up in the UTH that is basically a copy of the Helms Manual.
I've played with mine quite a bit too since the front bumper got bumped. Try this:
1) Use a tape measure to get 25ft from a wall on a flat surface...truck loading docks are ideal for this.
2) Cover the driver's headlight with a dark towel or leather jacket.
3) Take a yard stick and place it in front of the passenger headlight just touching the bumper. Mark the upper line strikes the headlight.
4) Take the yardstick out to the wall and rest it there standing up. Adjust the headlight so that the upper line strikes the yardstick 1" lower than the previous mark. It does take a looong phillips (8" at least) to get to the adjuster.
5) Cover the passenger headlight and move the yardstick in front of the drivers headlight. Then adjust the upper line to the same lower mark as for the passenger side. (Note: you will need to pull the coolant reservoir to get to the adjuster on the driver's side)
They should be pretty close at that point.

I think he means horizontal alignment, not vertical. I could be wrong though.
You can slightly adjust with the mounting bolts, but if the metal was "fixed" be bending it back instead of replacing it, that may be your problem. It may have to go back to the body ship for them to fix it.
