The lady and I are making a trip to Destin Florida June 2nd-9th, I will be driving the S.

Looking for recomendations of restaurants and night spots.

Destin is absolutely gorgeous! I haven't been in a couple of years but I will be back down there next weekend. I will go check out and see what is left after the storms that I know of. I would be more than happy to make some good suggestions.

Anyone heard of Chops Restaurant? Had a couple of people say it was good.

 

I would make sure and make a drive through Seaside. It is a little community on the sea that has absolutely GORGEOUS architecture and the best beaches.

Chops is FREAKING AMAZING! If you have heard of the restaurant "Ruth's Cris", Chops is very similar. The BEST steak you will ever have, but EVERYTHING is A LA CARTE, so expect to pay out the a$$ (dinner for 4 was ~$300 with 2 drinks each). But my experience was at the Chops in Atlanta, it is an upscale chain like "Ruth's Cris." If you are going to be in the Panama City area, you might want to check out the Boars Head Restaurant. Great food, and the price will not break the bank.
