Default How do I find Radio Security Codefor AP1?

I installed my new K&N FIPK cold air kit this weekend. Disconnected the batterry. When I started it I noticed the radio does not work. It shows an error code. I looked in the manual for my 2001 (AP1) after 4 to 5 tries at random entry. I now know that there is a code which I need. I looked thru the manual for code and could not find one. Does anyone know how to get the Codes?

I am very happy about the cold air kit, but did not want to be radio less. Help please!!!

The code normally comes on a business card-sized card that should be in the packet that your owners manual is in.

If not, I believe that you can pull the radio and give the dealership the serial number off the back and they can find the code that way.

Check inside your owners manual for a sticker on either the inside front or back cover. Also check inside your glove box and secret compartment as well as the trunck area for this same sticker. it should be white with a 5 digit code on it. there will be no zeros or any number higher than 6 on it as the code in entered through your preset buttons on the head unit.

beyond that, looking it up the hard way will most likely cost you money at the dealership

Good luck
