You might have to add a special category for mine though: nasty bitch

 

A good idea...... people would have to post up their cars with the knowledge that people may critique something and offer their opinions on their ideas. It might be a more slippery slope than we could handle. I dont want any ill-will or feelings hurt if member A post his car up for comments and then Member B says something and Member A gets sand in their crotch about it LOL

I could handle any critique but somebody with a ton of time, money and personal preference invested my hold a grudge if somone speaks their mind a little.

you want to try it with a couple cars I think it might be a good way to get a good cross-section of perspectives.

 

Yeah, i wasn't thinking so much about a critique of each car, as much as people voting for their general 'impression' of each car. Something like :

'This one falls in the sexy category b/c ....'

etc.

I'm willing to throw mine out there for starters and we have a few decent shots of some others from the other night if the owners are up for it.

 

That is done all the time in the gallery section where people can judge without care of feelings. It's harder to tell someone that their HUGE wing looks awful when you are going to see them at the next meet.

But that thread would be pretty cool in the Gallery.

 

I was also thinking of keeping it just a local thing. A lot of us on the FL boards know each other and are not likely to say crass things about a friends car even if there's something we don't like. There really are a some assholes over in the Gallery, and i think we could have fun w/ this while avoiding the whole scene over there.
