So is it a rebuild off the wreck or a fresh build on a new chassis?
If its the first one how did the cars frame survive??
Glad to see you are going to come back to the fold

I drove an Elise and I wasn't impressed. Yes it handled great, but the engine seemed even more peaky than the S.
Not to mention the car is downright tiny. It makes the S feel like a Caddy. With all the large vehicles on the road, I really did not like the driving position. Not to mention ingress and egress out of the car is very hard.
That being said, if anyone is looking for a slighty used Elise I can get you a good deal on a Silverstone-ish looking one.

I drove an elise as well. Even though it was pretty much new, it was still a rattletrap. The car did not have nearly the fit and finish of a used Ford Focus. It handled great and it would be a good track car, but as a street vehicle, i'd have to pass.

Nick, really great to start hearing from you again. Glad you decided to go with the re-build of the blk beast. Sorry you have been going around & around with those insurance people but I hope thing smooth out from here now. We all miss having you out @ the week meets & the big events. Hope to see you out more, let me know if I can help you out on getting any factory parts.
