Default I got a cracked windshiled

I heard that insurance will cover a cracked windshield without you losing your deductible. Is this true? and if so are there any stipulations because right now I have a crack w/spider the size of a half dollar on my passenger side.

Yes, your insurance will cover it.

Call them and tell them about it, then ask them to refer you to a good window shop to get it done.

I dont know exactly about the deductable thing, but if you tell your insurance company that it was caused by a dumptruck or something like that they will fix it for you for free. My mom worked for allstate and thats what allstate did.

In florida, a cracked windshield is always a free fix. Make sure to pick a place that will install a OEM windshield some of the off brands have the mirror attachment wrong and the subsequent fittment is for poo poo.

Trust me I know from experience. PPG or OEM or nothing

as long as they don't have to replace the whole windshield, its usually no deductible in most states...
