Hello, i went to my local honda dealer asking about the price for the lights that went out on my 2005 S2000's external control clusters. Not the instrument cluster on the inside with the speedo and tach... the ones on the external buttons like the temp control and by the start button and the likes. they went out one at a time now they are all out. SO, i checked and they quoted me $107 for the 9 bulbs and $275+tax for the job with a grand total of $375 for the whole deal.
- is the $107 for the bulbs the actual going rate or are there other outlets for the bulbs i should pursue? I know LHT will do the install for $75. I would do it but once i start seeing things like "the airbag might go off" and "be very gentle with the column" i pretty much know to hand off the job. Thoughts?

this one right by me is very odd, the parts counter lady can't speak english so it is a struggle to get anything done.

 

Lol at the air bag warning and column warning. Take the ground off the battery if you're really worried about it. The s2000 is a pleasure to work on.

 

what you can do too is some dealer will give you have majestic honda price if you print out the chart page. Depending on the person you might pay the total for all the item or the totals with S&H. I always check Majestic before going to the dealer

 

you must have went to Autoway. They always want to charge full list

 

full list being retail price plus a 50% additional markup OVER MSRP.
