After numerous requests for info on my iPhone holder. I am posting the info here.


I am using the auxiliary input on my Alpine, along with a cigarette lighter charger when needed. I have an older Alpine, so it does not have the Apple interface built in.
The newer models do. So you will not need the Aux and Cig charger.

For an iPhone holder, I am using these two items.

I am very interested in this as well. I was thinking a combination of what Indyana did plus some bracing to hold it tighter, and then using a dock connector cable for power AND audio out.

 

mine started with modifry's mount.

well after making a mock up with a license plate to the the bends, holes and position right.

I used a peice of aluminum from the hood cut out to make this..



clip is removable to take with phone..


my buddy derek... D Spec made the same thing along with a bracket for his vfacii which mounts on the leftside of the dash up top between the pillar.. see what happens when you get bored
