I have a Pioneer 7900 BT deck right now, and I'm using an ipod touch. It works just fine. However, I'm thinking about getting an iphone now, and am wondering how it works with the pioneer setup. The main concern is the bluetooth functionality with the deck.

Does the deck still pickup the bluetooth signal while the iphone is plugged in?

Anyone have any experience with this?

 

yes it does, when you plug in the iphone, the iphone will say, this accessory is not made to work with the iphone would you like to place the iphone into airplane mode in order to not interrupt music? just say no and your good to go, u get your music and your phone will work as well.

i've got an iphone, if you have any q's just ask! i use my iphone with my alpine deck and bluetooth unit.

 

Have you had experience specifically with the pioneer decks? I ask because I did read a few sites where people were complaining about problems.

 

no i havent, only alpine, but it shouldnt have a problem
