I too apologize for jacking the turbo thread. I figured I'd start a new thread about ITB's in case anyone else had anthing to say about them. To be honest, i was quite interested in reading them. I think i would have tto agree that its a stupid amount of money for how much performace you get out of them. i think they are dead sexy though. Too bad I will never get them.

I think everyone agrees that the money to hp ratio sucks. if they make, lets say, around 50 hp , i'd probably spend about 2 grand to get them. definitely not 7 or 8. that is truly insane.

 

If I won tonight, I will buy one to do ITB, one for turbo and another one for S/C just to compare the difference. Pray for me to win!!!

I think you've misunderstood what I was trying to say. I was saying buying two other cars to do turbo, S/C and ITB. And of course, if I won tonight, I'll buy you a set to let you enjoy. Only if I won.

ITBs arent made for HP gains. Its made to maximize each gear to its maximum potential. Right when you hit the gas, you get INSTANT response. Although you sacrifice most top end speed, your acceleration will be TREMENDOUSLY greater.
