Let me borrow a phrase from WisconsonS2k:

THIS POST IS WORTHLESS WITHOUT PICTURES!

And let me add that don't bother posting anything more until it is tuned...we want cold hard numbers!

We need to have a group meeting at Todd's when you do the tuning and the dyno. It is just too cool not to be there. Many of us need to hear the experience and feel the volume. Sound clips on the dyno, sounds clips of you starting out in 1st gear, clips as you rock into 2nd gear at 9K, etc. Please post when you plan to do this install and tune session.

So long as Rick doesn't blow my car up on the dyno tuning it (j/k, I know you won't Rick ), we should get a pretty good roadmap on how to do this outta this whole experience

...as my valves get shot thru my nice vented hood...
I am encouraged by the extra motor tho...in that case, let 'er rip!!

j/k, please don't kill my 72k mile old motor

Oh, and I've been documenting for you...ever since the change to 10w-30 from 5w-30 when I was there for the AEM tune, I have now done 3 oil changes, all at 3000 mile intervals +/- 100 miles, and every single one of them had consumed rougly 3/4 of a quart of oil, as opposed to the virtually no oil consumption on 5w-30. (All oil used was Castrol Syntec w/ K&N oil filter). I changed out my PCV this last oil change, we shall see if this has any bearing on oil consumption. The fact that I had oil dripping out of both ends of it leads me to believe it may have been part of the culprit, but not entirely at fault either.
I also installed a magnetic drain bolt as recommended. After 1 oil change, there was just the ever so slight metallic film on the magnet, but I would say the amount of metal was negligeable...almost non-existent, but still a very, tiny amount. What's your diagnosis?
