Default It's time for new tires. Feedback is appreciated.

I need to replace my tires. I have star specs now but they are not available anymore. So I need some feedback on which of the following I shoukd choose. My S is only a weekend toy and it doesn't see much rain. I only car about dry grip for spirited driving & auto crossing. Thanks for your input. I don't want rs-3's because they are too hard to get!

1) BFG Rival
2) dunlop z2
3 Yoko AD08r
4) toyo R1R
5 Bridgestone RE-11

Dunlop Z2.
Bring a tire sprayer to autocrosses in case they get over heated.

The Rival is a good alternative, but the Z2 still works in the rain.

I dont AutoX so I can't speak to how they will perform for you there however for just plain great grip and a very stiff side wall with zero roll the Bridgestone RE11's (11A is the newest version) is the best tire in my opinion.

RE11. Had the Yokos on for about 1.5 years or so. Very loud tire compared to the RE11, and not as good in the rain.

+1 for the ZII. You should only need the tire sprayer in the mid summer or if you have a co driver.

You can get the RS-3's in about a month. Tire rack has a shipment of the new version of them coming in mid April. Its on their site now or give them a call and they cal tell you about them.

I love the new Z2. Always loved RS3 but the Dunlop is better in the rain. Can't go wrong with the RE11 if you can get a decent price on them
