Hi friends my name is Angel, Im from Honduras - Central America, and I have a new formula red S2000....anyways im in Honduras and i decided to change my clutch, so a mechanic did the clutch change but unfortunately he broke the knock sensor and since there are not many S2000 here in my country, there are no replacement parts for my car. My question to you is can we use a knock sensor from other Honda Models like for example a Civic, Rsx, Pilot, Accord, Crv...etc??? we tried to use a knock sensor from a Civic's B16 but is not compatible. Please help me ok .... if not then ill have to order a new sensor which is about $150 and will have to wait a long time to get shipped over here..... HELP!!!

I would imagime this sensor would be specific to the S2000 . The engine in the S is quite different that any other Honda

 

Even if another fits I would not go that route

 

Thanks amigos I guess I will have to buy a new one or if someone has an extra one used, maybe we can make some business.... if anyone finds out any other options let me know.... gracias
