A little warning
Just wanted to throw this out there to any fellow S owners in the SW Fla area.
Over the past week I've been in need of a few extra parts for the S. First being a throwout bearing for my clutch replacement(one shipped with unit was off the shelf garbage one). Second was flywheel bolts and pilot bearing (again Fidanza provided the wrong pilot bearing with new flywheel, it literally just fell right through the new one).
Anyhow so wanting to keep my money local, I opted to go to Hnda of Ft. Myers to order the parts from their parts dept. The throout bearing was $153.66! At this time I was at work and didnt have time to price shop and time was of the essence so I figured it was probably about right. only to find out that the price was ridiculously high. Went in with printouts of all of the prices from other Honda dealerships and they corrected the price to the highest price I found only after threatening to take my future business elsewhere.
Now with the bolts and pilot bearing I shopped around first. HOFM wanted $10.33 each for the bolts and $30.xx for the pilot bearing. I ended up getting the parts from Port Charlotte Honda for $4.2x a bolt and $19.xx for the bearing. After a short convo with the guy while ordering and telling him of the prices at HOFM he did the math from cost and said that they are making up their parts over 400%. That just seems immoral to say the least. They've lost my business forever and I will now be shopping around for my parts and if I'm in a pinch will get them from Port Charlotte Honda if anywhere..............
End Rant

I've had a similar problem at Coggin Honda here in Orlando. They basically add 50% to the MSRP that Honda charges. I went there to get some clips for my front bumper (little plastic pieces) and they wanted twice as much as Majestic Honda wanted shipped. I got them to bring the price down to MSRP, which was still a couple bucks more than Majestic, but I didn't have to wait for it.
There is a reason they are known as "stealerships"

All dealers are doing this, I (fortunatly) know someone at a local Honda store that gets me my OEM stuff.. Tampa Hondaland (as an Employee) tried to charge me WELL Over Retail so needless to say I went to my connection and got the part for $112.00 less. it was a $233.00 retail priced part FYI.. Hondaland tried to charge me $278.00 while i was working there
On the other hand, I just bought a rear bumper for my mom's Civic from Central Florida Honda ... It seems I ordered the coupe one instead of the sedan. The body shop called me and told me that it would not fit, so I called www.CFLhonda.com and they sent me a new bumper free of charge! They even told me to keep the coupe one as it was already painted by then. Incredible service.

Yeah but their parts are 50% cheaper than HOFM! Plus the service manager lives about 2 miles from me so I get them hand delivered!
I called parts at Coggin St Augustine Honda.. got a price I could live with... got down there later and ran into someone else who then gave me back a much higher price, I said I had called earlier and had spoken with some lady who looked it all up then and it was a different price.. and he left and returned and had come back with a price close enough to be exactly what the lady had said.. so.. shop your parts, but.. make notes on what you are getting or you may end up listening to No One here said that.. so.. hats off to St Auggie Honda.. they backed up their chit where i see it... would'a been my fault if i'd a just said Oh, OK.. duh... then mumbled BS about it...
A lot of time it is part of the Computer Software they are using. If they are using ADP, there is a Matrix function that automatically raises the price way above Retail. Unless the Parts Guy is paying attention, he won't notice the difference
