I sold it in 2005 but I had a 90 Integra for a beater. It was awesome.

try to find something clean and in good working order and then leave it alone. modding it will turn into a project just like your S.

your objective is to find something to get you from A to B. make sure it is not a rust bucket, make sure you are confortable in it, make sure it works and call it day.

I would have sold you HEEP#1 for $1500 but the gang of 13 year old hoodlums that stole it destroyed it in the comission of an armed robbery, Then it cost us $300 to get it out of impound.....who says crime doesnt pay? It was a perfectly good vehicle until they did their gangsta escapade with it. Long story to be told over drinks some night. HEEP #2 is alive and well.

Thanks for all the input. If I get a "sporty" car, it will remain stock until I get some more done to the S. I'm not going to buy anything that I'll be tempted to just dump endless money into with aftermarket parts. Maybe some lowering springs, sway bars, some sensible wheels, and a cd player.

However, if I get a truck or SUV, I'm gonna do what I have to do to make it tow-worthy so I can toss the S on a trailer for track days.

maybe even a high mileage prelude there pretty cheeap sometimes. If you are near Jax i work at Duval Acura we have a 5th gen with like 230K on the clock but i heard that the motor was just replaced in it. How long it will be there is a diferent story but is was stil on the lot i think they took it on trade for next to nothing so it cold be a posibility
loop - say hey to my boy Reuben in Parts. He used to be our hookup at Duval Honda before moving over. I have an '02 RL as my Road Warrior so I still see him from time to time.

Scott- between loop and stuff maybe if you check their website he can hook you up. Can't replace a good beater. They are awesome. Good luck.

Daily driver mission accomplished. I'll be going to pick up my new car on Sunday afternoon.

Ended up getting a 1992 Subaru SVX LS-L. 91,000 miles and AWD. Seems like a winner.
