We still have 7 spots open... $100 per car...
Everyone is invited...
This is a test and tune style event... Everyone drives solo... learn your car, test out settings, have fun... NO RACING...
In car RF timing devices are available for rent at $10 per car.
Tentative schedule:
Track Opens: 9:00a
Track goes hot: 09:30a
1hr Lunch 11a-12noon
Track goes cold: 04:30p
Track Closes 05:00p
11211 N County Road 225
Gainesville, FL 32609
http://www.gainesvilleraceway.com/
The Event will be broken up into six (3) car rungroups and one (2), each with a 10 minute session (no specified number of laps) with one cooldown lap at the end of each session. Each rungroup will get 4 sessions. People arriving late will be allowed to enter in the 5 minute break between sessions.
As far as preparation goes, you absolutely need a helmet. Snell 2000 or better. Some suggestions would be high temp brake fluid, track pads, and brake ducts that are open. Stock S2000's are considered ready for this course... Just make sure you have an adequate amount (atleast 1/4th) of stock brake pad's left...
There is a limit of 20 cars total... you can have multiple driver's per car... but only 1 driver per session...
