Modifying OEM Airbox like Spoon
I remember reading a post about a month ago about which intake provides the best power gains. We all know Honda decided on the final production airbox because it's the best they could do with emissions and warranty issues. Anyway... I know someone can provide we with a walk through on how to combine the cambers like Spoon does for better airflow.
Take the lid off, snap off the elbow on the underside of the lid. Use a large pair of pliers and snap down the center divider wall it may take a few/many breaks but will end up cleaner than trying to cut it if you do it right. Plug up the small hole in the far right of the airbox and thats it. Some take flat black paint on the inside of the box for a clean look after knocking down the wall. If you want I can do it for you in person very quick and clean. I live right off Gandy so P.M. me if you want help. -Troy-
