Default Yet another Spoon Snorkel question

I picked up a Spoon replica snorkel and love the improved throttle response... I also just replaced the oem filter w/ a K&N one... I found alot of dirt in the airbox which was expected from the feedback others have provided... My only concern is water... I've done the airbox mod (cut 3/4 of the divider, covered the resonator hole, and cut off the "L" shaped horn on the lid) and am concerned that if water gets in, it'll go straight to the filter... If I need to take pics of the internal parts of the airbox I will, but most of you know the mod... Should I be concerned when it starts raining? Thanks in advance...

I wouldn't worry about it. IIRC the stock airbox has some provision for drainage - and it'll be tough to get enough water through the Spoon snorkle setup.

Is there a link to a thread with Step by step instructions of the airbox mods?

That setup won't cause a hydrolock, you're pretty much safe.
