MSRP on '03's
FL owners/enthusiasts, I will be selling at MSRP on all new '03's for the rest of the model year. I have Silverstone w/ Black and Spa Yellow w/Black available now. As far as I know, we are the only Central FL retailer who has agreed with S2Ki.com's MSRP only policy. No accessories are added.

Hmmmm...so far, I've had two dealers acting like they were doing me some kind of enormous favor for offering the car at MSRP. What the hell is up with that? I see posts every day on this board from guys buying this car in other parts of the US for closer to $30k.
Lets not play stupid games, shall we? Attention dealers: Dont act like this car is still the hot seller it was 3 years ago. Sales have been dropping (http://www.hondabeat.com/stats/feb03stats.cfm), so enough with the price-gouging. Its a great car and you are entitled to a fair profit, but stop acting like we should be grateful for paying MSRP on this car.

Rant on:
No, it's not a favor. Yes, the car has many more competitors than before. It's the first time any GM has allowed me to offer them @ MSRP, and that's why it's posted here. I would bet that 85 to 90% of us paid more. To you savvy buyers, MSRP may sound like gouging. To folks that are still getting quoted $2 to $5K over, it sounds like money saved. Like all advertised cars, it is an asking price and if you're in the market, smart, patient, and flexible on color - well maybe you can do better. Most of us wish we did.
Loyalty to your dealer is rare, so my regards for having some. However, there are many other great Honda retailers in the state.
