Dave,

That's my favorite color, the only reason I didn't get it on the S was becasue at that time they were hard to come by.

I don't need that torque. I like the S or an Elise for the mountain roads.

That's a good car for the straight Florida roads though. Not good for top down weather.

[QUOTE=smokindog,Nov 13 2005, 06:02 PM] Those are cool pics!!! I wish they would have done a little retro on the new goat to give it some of the old schoo looks. theys should have done the hood scoops like the original.

BTW, it would have been cool to have the gauges on the hood like

to all of the "other car" haters who think they are hot $hitt because they have an S2000 and think it's the only cool car on the planet

Nice GTO Rich. The original GTO's were based off of a regular looking Pontiac family car and it was given some slight cosmetic changes and a beast of an engine and this new GTO stays true to tradition in that sense.

Are you talking to me?

I don't have a problem with other cars at all. I have owned at least 50 cars of all types, including a VW. Hell I have a chevy motor in my kit car. I didn't agree in his assessment that the GTO was better than the S in his first post, Before Editing.

Enough said.

Got to hand it to DeLorian for finding a loop hole in Pontiacs SOP at the time.
Became a classic
Most people thought GTO ment (Gas Tires Oil) for years.
You go through a lot of that having fun,
in any car.........................

Nice new beef! I'm not a fan of the car (yes, I've driven one) but I can be happy for another board member and friend. Another example of the board going downhill over the past year.

Rich, I think it's great that you got a new car. Give me a call or post in the roll call thread to let me know if you'll be bringing the new one or the Honda to the event at Wilde Honda this next Saturday.
