Default my s2000 doesnt pull as i think it should..

I have 4.77 gears on my car but it jst doesnt pull as i think it should... i've raced a couple of mustang gt's (02 or so), and i edged em out with only a bumper lead... does that sound normal?? I've over revved about 2-3 times now... yea i suck, lol the engine seems fine, but dont know if the over rev made a big impact on perf? Its possible its all mental, but anyone local willing to set up a comparison run? just wanna see if i could pull atleast a car or 2 on a stock s2000 from a 1st gear roll, if not, then i might need to check up on the car.. any volunteers? im in the tampa/st pete area.

Define your view of overrev... did you downshift improperly or simply hit the rev limiter while stomping the gas?

I would but my car isnt stock. thats what he is after. but after running at sunshine speed way last Wed. i ran like shit. it was completely driver error. I was running 9.3's and i should be running 8.9's so dont count on me i quit drag racing. only drift and Road course for me....

We almost forgot, you got the JDM Bling Wing parkbench series. God himself driving couldnt beat you with that.

i would say that sounds about normal. i'm assuming that the mustang gt you raced are non-FI and have stock gears? a decent driver will run a 13.9 or 14.0 on a gt, with your 4.77 gears, you should come out about half a car length in front of him until he catches up and passes you in top speed.
