Default Need Help With Paint

So I finally purchased a hardtop since this will allegedly be the last year for S2Ks. Its in the mail and all I need do now is decided on the paint.

I found this picture and decided to see what it would look like on my ride.

My ride as is.

Chopped onto my ride.

Quickly colored to match my ride.

Obviously I didn't get the colors right. The gloss black would be closer to flat black to match the wheels.

What I'm looking for your opinion on; should I paint the middle flat black or is that taking away from the natural color balance?

I love the paint scheme on that yellow car and think it would transition to silverstone just fine

IDK about the flat paint though... that would be hit or miss for me until I saw it in person

I like it! Flat black would look really tight with your power coated wheel. You might also want to paint the S2000 and Honda emblems flat black too.

I love the way it looks but be careful, try to find a ground shot of the car since it may not look so hot from ground level, just a thought...

I'd paint it all one color really.

I'm thinking of it as a flat black top with a dash of silver to complement the car. I won't be removing the windshield tape so I think it will retain the stock look that they have from the front.

I think I'll get the black chrome "S2000" emblems from hardtopguy and the black "S" on the silver background from Ricks.

From the side, remember that my windshield tape is black.

Side shot.

I feel all one color detracts from the beautiful Mugen lines. Am I alone on that one?
