having the contrast looks good. It will set you apart from others without looking like you're trying too hard. Modest and clean
I have another idea.....paint the top and sides silverstone and the stripes black to match the tape on the windshield pillars.
Either way, gloss black all the way...flat would clash with the gloss of the windows around it IMHO

+1 on the stay away from flat black on the hard top
not enough flat on the car to justify it...it would end up looking like faded paint against all the gloss of the rest of the car
if it was wrapped in flat black vinyl or had raing stripes done in flay vinyl or more flat in general on the car in some way it might work, but.....
