Default Need to Vent

I have had the worst luck with vandalism with this car. I've had 4 nails...and I know the nails are not random...I do not live in a construction area nor is there any major housing construction on my path to work (90% of my driving). I even started checking behind my tires before I pull out (and have found one well placed nail that way). Plus last year the car was keyed and the anntenna stolen.

Today I'm out running errands...last stop at Publix...come out and I find a flat...I pull out the pump and find it's not holding air. Feel around the tire and find the leak...a box cutter blade is broken off and sticking out of the rubber with a 2 inch gash. I can see there is no way to patch the cut so now I've got to order 2 new tires!

I've always owned interesting cars...but it seems in the last 2 years it has gotten crazy with this car. No where near this bad for the first 3 years I owned the car...and that was in a college town!

I was wondering the same thing.

You might want to watch your car from a distance to let the perp'(S) think you are gone.

If they wait for you go into a building, have a friend be at your destination before you. Have your friend watch your car and see if someone is vadilizing your car, and if they do catch someone doing it, have your friend call the cops, take pictures or film it on vid.

Then have them prosecuted. It will only be for what is witnessed.

Sounds like someone has it out for you, or just the S2000 in general.

I hope this stops for you soon. Any questions, shoot me a PM and I will advise you as best I can.

That really sucks!!! Why do people feel that they have the right to do what they want to regardless if it hurts someone else????

Can't think of anyone that would spend the time to follow me around. The timing has been pretty random but always while parking in a big parking lot (Publix...the mall...restaurants...etc)

poor parenting!!!!! probably some punk ass, new MTV gen, think that they deserve everything for nothing type of asshull, wishing too hard that he had a decent car to drive!!!!!

I am in a bad mood today for some reason, sorry...... but that is probably what the perp is like in some form or another.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune, the way my carma debt is being repaid, as soon as my car gets back from paint, some idiot is going to key it.

I find it very easy to empathize with you with all the vandal talk floating around here as of late.

Good luck and hopefully it wont happen again, but still try to catch these ding dongs too

That sucks, I had someone follow me into a mall once, as soon as I was inside they dug out the Mugen emblem on my spoiler . They worked quickly because I was away from the car no more than 5 minutes....
Any way, what kind of tires do you need? I might be able to help you

Thanks warpspeed...I'll remember that next time but already ordered replacement Hankook RS2 Z211.

BTW...with the tire fully flat can see it has a very soft a sidewall. I've seen Yok ES100 and oem S02 completely flat and their sidewalls are so stiff that it looks like there is still some air in there...not the Kookies.

Someone doesn't like Hankooks. Has all the vandalism taken place at this Publix?
