Here's what I suggest we do.

We need individuals to step up to the plate and be S2K "reps" for their area.....to be THE contact person for events AND be the person to help organize things. You can delegate responsibilities as needed so that the amount of time required is modest. We should segregate our forum into North, Central and South Florida "threads" so that owners can read about social events in their region but also check other regions out if they are travelling.

Since our first attempt at FL meeting may be Oct.13-14, it gives us over a month to get things rolling. It WOULD be fun to see caravans from different parts of the state converging on South Florida. I know Deb, Vince and I will get there Friday late afternoon around 4pm to check-in to the hotel (Hampton Inn Florida City). Perhaps we can all gather in old downtown Homestead for an impromptu dinner Friday night. The next day we can do a photo shot of everyone at Homestead Miami Speedway on the front straight with the Homestead Miami Speedway SIGN right behind us....now THAT would be a great shot to post on S2Ki!

We did this in Atlanta with a dinner the night before a track event and unbelievably over 60 people showed up. There were at LEAST 20 S2K's in the parking lot, along with 12 NSXs. It was awesome and we stopped traffic because so many people were driving through the shopping center gawking.

Perhaps one person from each region could try to pull together a regional meeting of owners in THEIR area about a month before the Miami meeting. We did one in Orlando July 1 and it was a BLAST. We had 5 S2Ks and 6 NSXs and spent the day exploring the hilly roads of Lake County. The S2K group met again on Aug. 4 and despite the rainy weather, can't wait to do it again.

Why don't we nominate people from Coral Doc's list to represent their regions?

Thanks Wei-Shen and Josh for your efforts organizing Florida. I will be at the Homestead and Sebring meets and look forward to any track days there after. I would be willing to donate time to assist you where ever needed. Looking forward to meeting all of you and to the upcoming cooler winter temperatures to generate horse-power.

Checking in and saying "hey!"

I'm not on this board as often as I once was (I'm a new dad), but I'd love to participate in any meets that I can.

There really aren't any good roads around here, but there is a small speedway (~1.5 mile) here in G'ville. I can inquire about rental if there's interest.

I live in Jax and would be willing to help here. Let me know what the best way to approach organizing an area.
