I don't think that necessarily applies ONLY to the female sex. *AHEM*

Funny when I got my car at the dealer this was told to me "If you have a boyfriend, you wont have one after the car. If you don't have a boyfriend, you will have one after the car". But like I told 'em I'll get a boyfriend for the car not for me... and a good point to them telling me that was.. I had a Cop drive by my office.. saw my car parked outside.. came inside and found out it was my car.. then he was playing around telling me "he was going to tow my car away". Guys I tell ya if he wasn't so dang hot I probably would have taken him serious!

One turn at the wheel and I guarantee your wife will be more <ahem> passionate about the S2K. My wife thought I was a fool for getting so worked up over a little ragtop, but when she got a chance to drive it, she became an instant S2K addict.... Wait a minute... maybe that's not a good thing, after all.

My wife is fed up with me getting this S2000. I guess thats all I ever talk about. She's tired of hearing about it. Well once I get it I won't talk about it as much, I'll just be driving it!! I guess it would be a good idea to get her behind the wheel at least once. This way she'll understand were I'm coming from.

RoadRunnerX,

I had to buy my wife an S2K so the NSX wouldn't cause a marital rift Sure beats coming home to a grand piano, right wchin ..
Let her drive the car, in fact, encourage it. One of two things will happen, she isn't a car buff but will think you are wonderful for "sharing" with her. Second, she could like the car so much that you never get to drive again - that sucks!!!!!!

Anyway it unfolds, happy motoring.

Vincent

PS - Broke the clutch in the Formula Mazda first lap, turn three at Sebring - long day - little seat time

I've got a good lawyer, I wonder what he charges for seconds. It may be cheaper to buy another S2k. All this excitement and I don't even have my car yet.

Ah......redliner02 and roadrunnerX

Just buy her a grand piano and drive your car! At least the piano goes UP in value with time....

My wife is wonderful. She tolerates my car addiction and even LIKES to ride in the S2K, topless of course! I've been married 16 years and today is our anniversary. Where am I you ask....how's Vegas getting ready to hit "the Strip" for shows and dancin'...Sue's getting dressed up for a "hot" evening.....

Vince, I'm eyeing an 02 Spa Yellow......better go piano shopping again....

Wei-Shen
just sold my 01 spa yellow....empty spot in my garage :-(

Happy anniversary! Thanks for the advise. I don't think a piano will work. I'll figure something else out.

Hey there Redliner02. Are you the same guy that started that that Ford Pinto site. I remember you talking about getting an S2000 after you saw my Silver 01. I guess you were able to sell that Pinto. I'll tell ya...I never heard of anyone stuffing a turbo 400 into a Pinto and chopping off the roof.
I think you made the right move by selling that "thing" and stepping up to an S2000....even if it's red!!!
Hope to see you cruising around.
