Default New Pics of the Future NSX and S2000 Replacement?

Thumbing through the new April issue of Road & Track. page 55. Here is the 1st I've seen of what some seem to think the new NSX may look like. YIKES!!!!! And then on page 59 is the Honda XGA that they claim may be the possible replacement for the S2000, once it has run its life cycle. 'Say it ain't so !!!

If this is what the future is bringing, then I'm gonna quote Ian Anderson and "Keep On Living In The Past". The second that I get back from Prague this summer, me & the Mrs. are having a serious discussion on buying an "old school" NSX and a couple more S2K's. Mortage the house or whatever, 'cause were gonna' be millionaires when people start wanting the old stuff.

Yeah, I saw those photos a few weeks back. Not impressive at all. I did like that new Supra though.

They won't look like that for production. There is no way. Honda will not let us down. And if something like the XGA does come out, I doubt it will be anything like the s2k. Honda made the s2k to show off its engineering skills and 50yrs of racing heritage. I think the next car will be made more to fight the competition. Everyone is coming out with huge hp cars, and I bet Honda will follow with the XGA or whatever they bring out. Also, can you say SH-AWD? Badass.

It is just a drawing. That is only the first stage of a concept. I guarantee it will look nothing like the pics. I will be beautiful! It will weigh in at 3000lbs, coupe, sh-awd, 400whp I am dreaming.

Zacksdad has a point. Look at how a lot of people want the Old Detroit muscle cars. It may take a while but you could get more for what you paid for it after a decade or two.

As for the new designs, well not many people like the first rough drafts. That being said after market reviews there will be some changes. I just like the idea of SH AWD

Don't like any of them much. The Supra would be O.K. if they fixed the toothy front grill.

It is true that most computer mock ups don't look like the real cars. After nine years of going to the DETROIT autoshow I have seen very few cars come out close to the proto-type let alone the computer mock up.
