On Saturday at the Z-hills power Blitz, I comitted to buying another Honda s2k.
I drove straight to the dealership after the show and consumated the deal in an hour and half.
Here are the particulars: MY 2000; it has 6100 miles; it was owned by guy named Keith Richards and I'll have to verify this, it is alleged that this was the 1st s2k in the state of Florida. The build date is 6/99 and was bought in 10/99. the Vin Number 471
This car looks like it just came off the show room floor!!!!
Yeah,
that might account for the box of depends in the trunk
BTW it has:
Comptech cold air intake
The exhaust system is new, but I don't know what brand it is.
Can anyone tell from the pics?
Chromed oem rims with Toyo Proxes
Grillcraft grilles (the best grills I've ever seen on an s2k)
Sony Deck with 350 MTX amp
Original Honda CD changer with a cover that has s2000
(the CD changer does not work with Sony though)
Invisible Bra and a colgan bra for the hood and side view mirrors
and it came with a oem car cover, flannel liner and window saver
for the convertible.
I called the previous owner to get more info on the car. He told me to stop by and pick up the old exhaust system, the intake and the original Radio.
My dilemma is to install the old radio so that I could use the CD changer or keep the Sony with the remote.
What do you guys think
Congrats. Looks like its in great shape. Does it feel any quicker than your last one with intake/exhaust? I am not too familiar with that exhaust...I didn't realize that you were getting another s2000. Good choice.

The guy who owned it runs an auto detailing/body shop.
He sent it to California to get it chromed. I'm off Friday, so I'll go over to
his shop and get the info on where to send it.
I saw him yesterday and he gave me the original stereo, muffler and air intake system. The paint is so perfect you don't see the scratches that you get from using regular wax.
He told me that the red s2ks are not clear coated.
