New S2000 Below MSRP
I have seen in posts on other boards of people being able to purchase a brand new 2002 S2000 below MSRP most at $30,500. Does anyone know any palces in Florida hopefully South Florida that can sell a Yellow S2000 at this price? If so can you reccomend a salesman as well. Also, would prices be cut to make way for the upcoming 2003 models? Thanks.

I think a lot of us have gone to different places to buy the car.. it's basically up to a lot of bargining and who's wants to make the sale.. your best bet is to start hitting the dealers and see who's up to giving you what you want. One place I can say don't go to (and i'm sure Laz will 2nd) is Brickelle.. DON'T EVEN BOTHER. I tried getting a Yellow there they only beleive in silver cars and they just aren't the brightest of the bunch. (What was the color they can get you Mav? Sunburst Yellow??) Well just start off w/Maroone of Miami, Braman, Honda of NMB, Rick Case and see what you get. Best of luck and if you go to Honda of NMB See Augusto Pole (great guy, thats who I got my car from). GOOD LUCK! Hope to see you cruising around Miami in a Yellow S2K!
Dealers to see...
- Braman Honda of Miami, ask for Justino Arnell. I used to hate Braman, but my current buying experience with them has been excellent. They were very fair about my trade-in. No games, very honest. Plus they CALL ME daily about the status of the car.
- Maroone Honda of Hollywood, ask for Chris Sinagra.
- Honda of NMB
The above dealers are MSRP Dealers. Depending on your negotiation skills, it is probable to get one for under MSRP. Tell them that Tommy with the Yellow S sent you over.
Dealers to avoid like the plaque...
- Brickell Honda, they told me they had a new color called Sunbrust Starfire Yellow.
- Rick Case, great service department, but can't say the same for sales. They are a bunch of retarded sharks who know NOTHING about the S, other then "it's better than a Miata."

I was called by Classic Honda in Orlando today. They initially refused to sell me a yellow 2002 S2k about two weeks ago for MSRP. I have since purchased a car at Blount Honda.
They are now willing to sell the car for $500 over invoice. If you're interested call Josey Pundett at Classic Honda, 407-291-3675.
I have no financial interest in this sale.

Hehe - I just got off the phone with Josey and she made a mistake in quoting you $500 above invoice . . . She said she has been busy typing email quotes for $500 above invoice for Accords and she quoted you the wrong price for the S2K . . . What she can sell it for is $500 above MSRP for the yellow S2K
Actually it's more like $700 above MSRP because she has a dealer fee of $198.55 . . .
I was ready to switch from Suzuka to Yellow for $500 above invoice

Yeah right...she made a mistake. She just lied....that's what I think. She DEFINITELY said $500 over invoice. I think they STILL don't understand that an S2k can be purchased at MSRP elsewhere.
Push for MSRP. I know you can get it at that price from Classic. I'm calling them right now to chew her out.
I got an 02 Spa Yellow at Blount Honda for MSRP. They drove to Sarasota and picked up the car and drove it back for me. I came in, cut them a check, and I was out the door in 15min. Now THAT's the way car buying should be....none of this "keep you hostage for an hour" crap.

wchin,
Was wondering where the yellow S2K went from Sun Honda here in Sarasota. Saw it outside on the lot last week, looked at the sticker on the window which read $39,999.00
Well done for driving it out of there because to this day, they are adamant that they always sell their S2K's quickly in the high $30k range.
Obviously the S2K market is not as strong as it once was!
No wonder they did not get my business!!!
Enjoy.
