questions to the OP. i see you have a 2007 model. who did your turbo setup and did they convert the DBW throttle to Drive By Cable? what piggy back electronics are you using. very interested in seeing UTH pics.

congrats on the numbers.
My car was converted to DBC because vipec (engine management) didn't get out the firmware update for DBW in time, and I didn't want to wait forever for them to do it. They have DBW capabilities now though. I went with a bigger TB anyway though, and the cable ones are a lot cheaper than the wire ones. The kit Mase is working on will cover the DBW guys though.

Mase does great stuff but I would love to see a tuner showdown. Same car, same day, previous tune cleared. I have seen Scott Avoy do some amazing work also.

What does everyone think TUNER SHOWDOWN!

I'll volunteer my car as long as I don't have to pay for two tunes!

I'll gladly pay the winner though!

I'll donate my car for the NA portion of that showdown on kpro... Mother has kpro also, so that'd be a fun comparison...

It seems more people with FI are running AEM. If it happened at all I think it should be a new never been tuned kit. Maybe a custom one so there aren't any PNP tunes.

Not many people have tuned the ViPec before... because it hasn't been out that long... and that's what Mase tuned on my car. Engine is stock bottom end, built head. For me... even if I knew another tuner could get a few more horsepower out of the car, I'd still go to Mase because of my experience with him. I've NEVER had a shop be as respectful to me and my car as Mase was.... you'd think it was his car he was working on.
