Default A new venture

As a few of you know, I ended up on ther short end of the stick on a corporate shuffle and ended up unemployed.

My career field is very specialized but I continue to search for opportunities in the area. There are some possibilities but I am not going to rely on them.

At my past two companies, in addition to my duties as a microbiologist/ Biochemist/ Scientist , I have also managed the IT deprtment. I always considered it job security by putting in the extra effort. I obviously was wrong . For years I have helped out friends by solving their computer problems. It was a hobby that I turned out to be very good at.

Today I took a big step and started my own computer service company. Are you ready for the name? "Computer Chip LLC"

I am not sure how it will all go but I put my faith in God to guide me in the right direction. If this works out, I hope this to be my retirement career, something to keep the mind sharp.

Please say a prayer for me as I push into the next phase of my life.

Chip

No but 20+ years of solid PC experience. I plan on marketing to the home/consumer market. Eventually I will get in to the business end but I need to get my feet wet first. I plan on offering general home technology service as well

I might need some web design.....know anyone who can do that?
