Noble effort ... for Willie Gee :)

I think I'd like one in the shape of an S2000 (even if it requires a permanent hardtop ... Berlina Black please).

I think we're all a little in love with the Noble ... and with performance numbers that better that of a GT3 ... who wouldn't.
I suspect that after 1g takes over as a primary producer the quality (fit and finish) will continue to rise and that will make the used pricing even more attractive. I'm hoping to pick one up in a couple years for about $40k-$50k.

well ... it may get some interesting competition in the next year or so.
Rumor has it the Corvette Z07/'Blue Devil' will be bringing more than another 100hp to the table than the current Z06!! And they say it will have a chassis and suspension to match. All that for about $100k ... something to consider.
... but, I'll believe it when they test it. My money is still on the Noble

ZO6 is still a mild mannered monster before you get it angry. I'd happily throw the keys to my wife for her to get groceries in the Z06. The Noble, not so much. I understand you can loose it in a hurry.
I've been doing some homework on the Noble and they say the fit and finish isn't is good as you'd expect...
but I still want one. I think maybe a used carpet queen in a few years.

The Noble easy to loose it?!? LOL It's a VERY drivable car below, near, and over the edge. Easy to catch and very reponsive and balanced chassis. Suspension does NOT beat you up as with the Elise, etc. (my 3000GT VR-4 is worse)
Fit and finish are great. The interior is spartan and takes the most "hits" from some people... no power anything... no eletronic nannies. Also having a competent installer is key. They can make or break the Noble owner experience in the US.
There are even a couple tuners with ECU access for the Nobles now. There are several cars getting 500+ to the rears with various mods. All that with the weight still below 2400lbs...
Personally even with my paltry 369hp 369ft-lb (to the rears) remapped M12, I'd rather have it than any Vette.
